You will be following a comprehensive training programme which offers training in a variety of IT skills. It is varied and you could find yourself using the skills learnt in different environments. The training covers the use of computers, from producing to printing a final document. This could include producing graphs, images, tables, spreadsheets and correctly formatted letters to the appropriate high standard. The IT qualification also covers computer maintenance and troubleshooting. There are a variety of ICT programmes you may choose depending on the role you are in, including Imaging software, Video software, Accounting software and Specialist software to name a few. You will reflect on the impact of ICT on society and business, looking also in to how it helps to develop communication in teams.
