Food manufacturing can vary depending on the company you work for. It could include development of skills within breweries, dairies, confectioners, bakeries, soft drinks, fish, fresh produce, ice cream makers etc. As an apprentice you will be following a comprehensive training programme which offers training in a variety of skills related to the production of food. This competency based qualification educates you on a range of the key requirements of a Food Manufacture operative including Food Safety, Product Quality, Traceability & Due Diligence. You will develop a comprehensive understanding of the manufacturing processes from goods in, production operations involved within your chosen field to goods out, the finish product.
