GENERAL FOUNDATION LEARNING PROGRAMME - DECEMBER START 15/16

A key part of the course is meeting your individual needs. We will work with you to design a programme of learning that you can enjoy and achieve! You will also be studying English, Maths and IT at GCSE level or Functional Skills and will be given the chance through excellent support to grow and achieve at a pace that suits you from your own starting point. You will study a range of Personal and Social Development subjects that will give you an understanding of topics which will benefit you in everyday life. You will also be given the opportunity to experience taster sessions in different vocational areas to give you more information about your choices in employment and further college courses. You will be assessed at the start of the course and a learning plan will be put in place to meet your individual needs. Students who have no GCSE results, or do not have four E Grades, or who have not attended some of their school education and need to achieve an Entry Level or Level 1 qualification in order to progress onto their chosen vocational area.
