Towards Independence

The course is designed for those who need a supportive environment in which to learn and are not ready to move onto a Level 1 Qualification or employment. The aim of the course is to enable students to develop their confidence, knowledge and skills to become more independent. Towards Independence is a course for students working at Entry levels 1 and 2. Students applying for this course will either have a Statement of Special Education Needs (139a) or have missed a significant amount of school.

There will be costs for materials and activities within the community. For more information please contact Lesley Boddy on 01604 736357. Students will also be required to purchase their own stationery. If you are aged 19 or over on 1st September there will be an examination fee of approximately £85 payable at enrolment.
