The course is designed for those who need a supportive environment in which to learn and are not ready to move onto a Level 1 Qualification or employment. The aim of the course is to enable students to develop their confidence, knowledge and skills to become more independent. Towards Independence is a course for students working at Entry levels 1 and 2. Students applying for this course will either have a Statement of Special Education Needs (139a) or have missed a significant amount of school.
