This Award develops your research and writing skills. It focuses on looking at ways to access information from a variety of sources and how to use it in your writing. It provides an introduction to library skills and how to use the internet effectively for study. It will also look at ways of presenting research and information verbally. It is a useful course if you are preparing to go on to further study, such as the Northern College Access to HE programme. This course has three, 3 day sessions.
