Who is this course for? Bilingual adults wishing to develop their skills for work. People who are thinking about a career in interpreting. People who already use their language skills to interpret for friends and family. What will I learn on this course? Learn main techniques used in interpreting and practice strategies to improve standard of interpreting. How will I learn? You will attend one class per week for 12 weeks. You will learn using a range of activities including role plays, note taking, listening activities, vocabulary extension activities. What qualifications will I gain? Foundation Course in Community Interpreting Level 2, 6 Credits What could this course lead to? Level 3 Community Interpreting, work as an interpreter Can I join anytime? You must join within the first week of the start of the course. These courses start in various locations across Manchester throughout the year
