Who is this course for? Anyone who wants a GCSE for progression into higher education or employment. What will I learn on this course? You will follow the GCSE set syllabus. You will work towards the national qualification and your individual needs, developing your maths skills in number, algebra, handling data and shape. How will I learn? One three hour session per week, from September to June. There will be individual, group and class teaching, homework, practice papers and online resources What qualifications will I gain? A GCSE in Maths. What could this course lead to? Job opportunities, higher levels of maths, access courses leading to professional qualifications in teaching and nursing for example or other courses at college or university. Can I join anytime? New courses start in September – you must join by the October half term or wait for the next year
