The Level 4 covers higher level accounting tasks, including drafting financial statements, managing budgets and evaluating financial performance. AAT delivery is through a mixture of classroom delivery, tutorials, workshops and training on the job. Each level of the AAT will take approximately 12 to 18 months to complete. On achievement of the Level 4, The full AAT Accounting Qualification is achieved. With one year's relevant work experience, full membership of AAT is awarded and the designatory letters MAAT may be used.
