This course is designed for apprentices registered to a hairdressing salon as a barber. The apprenticeship framework consists of the NVQ and Key Skill requirements*. On successful completion of the on and off-the-job competencies, the apprentice will be classified as a qualified tradesperson. The nationally recognised, Foundation Apprenticeship in Hairdressing or Barbering certificate, will be issued on successful completion of the course.
