This course provides the opportunity to develop knowledge and skills in book-keeping at an intermediate level. Course content: Check and correct errors from entries in the ledger and day book Provide for depreciation of fixed assets using ledger accounts Prepare individual accounts in purchase and sales ledgers Account for accruals, repayments, bad debts and provide for doubtful debts Prepare purchase ledger control accounts and sales ledger control accounts Complete an extended trial balance.
