This 1 year course gives students the training in the skills required to pursue a career in the design industry. The course will develop students abilities in a range of pathways, including: - Typography - Advertising - Product packaging design - Editorial design - Printmaking - Photography - llustration Students will be taught how to generate and develop ideas to industry standard briefs, whilst building a diverse portfolio of work. In addition, students will gain a qualification in Essential Skills English or Maths. Students will have the opportunity to develop their knowledge of artists and designers, visiting relevant exhibitions and galleries, both locally and abroad. In addition, students will gain a qualification in Functional Skills English and Maths
