Functional Skills - English

The course aims to enable students to learn and speak, read and write English at a basic level for everyday use. Students will develop the ability to read and respond to short texts. Students practice a range of types of reading and writing tasks. Activities include reading and discussing short stories and poems, writing letters, short descriptions etc. reading and responding to short newspaper articles, planning and redrafting work
