The Level 2 Diplomas are hybrid qualifications, made up of competence and knowledge units, whilst the Level 4 NVQ Diploma is competence based. These qualifications can be delivered on their own or as part of the appropriate apprenticeship in Business Administration. From learning to carry out basic administrative tasks to gaining higher level support skills, qualifications in Business Administration can be tailored to meet your or your employer's specific needs. They were developed in collaboration with Skills CFA (The Council for Administration) from the recently updated NOS (National Occupational Standards). These qualifications in Business Administration are for people who want to work in administrative support roles in public or private sector organisations, or people who want to improve their administrative and supervisory skills. A qualification in Business and Administration can help you succeed in a support role in any size or type of organisation. These roles include: Secretary, Receptionist, Administrator, Personal assistant, Office supervisor/team leader, Manager. Structure To achieve the Level 2 Diploma in Business Administration, learners must achieve 45 credits in total; 21credits from the mandatory units and a total of 24 credits from the optional units as follows: A minimum of 14 credits from group A optional units. A maximum of 10 credits from group B optional units. A maximum of 6 credits from group C optional units. A minimum of 36 credits must be achieved through the completion of units at Level 2 or above.
