A Team Leading programme is an excellent opportunity for employers to train and develop staff members into their first management position. Team Leading programmes enable the candidate to gain knowledge and understanding in various aspects of managing a team. The qualifications cover subjects including providing leadership to your team, developing productive working relationships with colleagues, health & safety, managing resources and allocating and checking work of the team. The qualifications give the candidate formal recognition of their performance in the workplace and programmes aim to develop new skills increasing personal growth and improving working practice. At Apprenticeship Level learners will work towards four mandatory units plus a wide selection of optional units and Functional Skills - English, Mathematics IT Level 1.
