Apprenticeship in automotive Glazing

The Automotive glazing Apprenticeship programme is available to both existing and newly recruited employees who wish to gain nationally recognised qualifications in their chosen occupational area. This qualification is aimed at those who work in the replacement automotive glazing industry. It covers the most important aspects of the job of those who repair and replace glazing components in motor vehicles. This qualification is at Level 2 and 3, where individual learners will be supported with full training in order to achieve their chosen profession in Automotive glazing. Automotive glazing is a critically important industry with rapidly advancing technologies. At The Independent Windscreen Academy, it’s our mission to help businesses improve continuously by training, developing and recognising technicians at the sharp end, from apprentices to experienced auto-glaziers to The Academy also offers recognition afforded by the Glass Qualifications Authority and delivers the National Vocational Qualification Vocational in Automotive Glazing. With a wealth of experience and expertise in training and assessment, IWA is an industry champion both regionally and nationally for skills development, accreditation and knowledge sharing
