If you are looking to continue your education, have a passion for Art and Design and are thinking about a career in this area, this course will provide you with the knowledge, understanding and skills needed to develop your creative potential. This fast paced and exciting one year course will introduce you to a diverse range of art and design practices, processes and techniques that will assist you in creating fresh and imaginative work. Not only will you investigate traditional skills such as drawing and painting, but you will also explore creative mark-making, 3D design and mixed media work alongside studying the work of others for inspiration. Enrichment includes termly project related visits to local museums, galleries and places of interest, to support your final project we also enjoy an action packed day in London. The course concludes by you by you exhibiting your work in the ‘Summer show’.
