The level 2 diploma in Health and Social Care is aimed at people currently working in the sector possibly as a Care Assistant, Support Worker or other supportive roles in a range of settings including residential, community, day services or supported living environments. The focus of the Level 2 diploma is on person centred care, direct care of patients as well as maintaining an individual’s independence. Apprenticeships Apprenticeships are available for 16 – 18, 19 – 24 and 25 plus. To be eligible for an apprenticeship you are required to work 16 hours per week. BHP Training may be able to help you with a work placement if you are not currently working. Your qualification will exist with NVQ diploma, Functional Skills at the appropriate level and Employment Certificate.
