This course explores engineering practices and provides you with some of the key knowledge and skills. Subjects covered include: working safely in an engineering environment, making components using hand and fitting techniques, machining and wiring and testing electronic circuits. This is a roll on - roll off course, usually provided as part of an apprenticeship. In some circumstances it may be delivered as part of the Train to Gain programme or as a stand alone qualification.
