Providing support to 16-24 year olds living in Birmingham & Solihull The aim of the programme is to support young people by enhancing their employability, personal development and functional skills to enable each individual to progress towards their career goals, be it an apprenticeship, further education, training or employment. The Initiate programme is a modular timetable scheduled over a 12-week rolling period but is purely dependent upon the specific needs of the young person so could be a few weeks long to 12-weeks +. It is led by a Personal Coach with support from Tutors and an Employer Solutions Consultant and is designed to Engage and motivate learners to identify their individual and personal strengths for progression to study/employment Realise their potential and progress to further education Provide IAG into possible progression routes Stimulate and engage learning opportunities Enable learners to develop their literacy and or numeracy skills
