Show you have solid computer skills with the Certificate for IT Users. This flexible qualification lets you choose the areas that you'd like to improve your skills in, whether it's email, word processing, imaging software, IT maintenance or website building software. Level 2 will suit you if you have some IT skills - probably from using a computer for work or school. You want recognition for your skills, perhaps to help with a job search or as part of your professional development. ITQ (User) has been designed by employers to meet the needs of today’s businesses. No two organisations are the same. The way they use IT is different; the IT skills of each employee are different. ITQ will ensure that employers get the right person for the right job by equipping individuals with relevant and effective IT user skills. Mercia Partnership delivers the ITQ on many employers’ premises. We help people improve their skills and assess them to National Standards certified by City & Guilds. The ITQ User qualification covers a variety of topics including: Operating a computer Word Processing Spreadsheets E-mail Internet/Intranet Databases Bespoke Systems ITQ is an established (and nationally recognised) qualification. Course lengths are set by the centre, based on the number of topics covered and how the learning is delivered. With the ITQ being taken at work, the time required to complete it will depend on the amount of training required and your previous knowledge and experience. Whether you are learning for work or leisure, a City & Guilds ITQ offers you the ability to learn about specific software applications from design and imaging for use with digital photography through to word processing and website software to make the most of you and your business.
