The Diploma in Retail Sales Professional at Level 3 are designed to provide learners with the knowledge, skills and understanding they require to carry out their job role and to support their future progression within the sector. Individuals undertaking this qualification will normally be involved in helping customers to choose products, deal with customer queries and process payments in a range of retail environments. Coaches Sales Assistants and is involved in merchandising their sales area. The aim of this qual;ification is to contribute to meeting the skills shortages in the sector and to promote the sector as a career of choice to the wider community. The objectives are to: 1. provide retailers of all sizes with access to a quality training programme; 2. attract new talent into retail to contribute towards meeting skills shortages; 3. upskill the existing workforce; 4. provide a career path and progression into senior jobs.
