The Retail Intermediate Apprenticeship framework at Levels 2 is designed to provide you with the knowledge, skills and understanding you require to carry out your job role and to support future progression within the sector. Intermediate Level apprentices may train as Sales Assistants, Customer Service Assistants and Stockroom Assistants as well as more specialist roles such as Beauty Consultants. The qualification comprises of the following QCF Certificate in Retail Skills Level 2 Functional Skills in English and maths Technical Certificate Employment Rights and Responsibilities On completion of this Apprenticeship, you will be competent to works as a Sales Assistant or Stock Room Assistant; following further training and development, apprentices you may wish to progress into level 3 jobs such as senior sales assistant or Team Supervisor; or you may wish to move into specialist roles such as warehousing or cash office administration; You might wish to have a period of consolidation within your current role and further develop additional retail skills, either at the same level or at a higher level
