Two Years full time, Year 1 modules include Prepare Horses for Presentation, Working horses from the ground, Understand and apply the principles of Horse Fitness Year 2 Modules, Anatomy & Physiology,, Principles of Horse Behaviour & Welfare, Riding Horses on the Flat This highly practical course links theoretical horse management to the practical context. Students are also encouraged to work towards the British Horse Society progressive riding tests 1-6 and the ride and road safety exam in year 1 and they are expected to work towards the BHS Stage 2 Exam in year 2. Outstanding teaching staff well known in the industry & experienced in many spheres of competition riding & coaching. External coaches visit the campus as part of the course.
