Focuses on direct chair side work and support during a range of dental treatments. The nurse would need to have considerable knowledge and skills in relation to dental equipment, instruments and be able to work as a key member of the oral healthcare team. Individuals are assessed in the workplace by your personal Training Advisor and will be required to compile a portfolio of evidence over the duration of the qualification and sit an externally marked examination. You will also be required to complete Maths and English Functional Skills at Level 2 (you may have exemptions for this).
