The Level 1 Diploma course is designed to prepare students to work as a Carpenter/Joiner Students will learn: House and Wall Construction Wood joints Construction materials Carpentry tools; their care and uses Building Regulations Health & Safety In the workshop students will learn how to set out their work area, work safely in a working environment and use the tools and materials to make basic wood joints and small carpentry projects.
