These qualifications has been developed for employees who work within the health social care sector including domiciliary care workers, agency workers, NHS staff and residential care staff. The qualification matches learner competence to the national minimum standard and aims to further knowledge and understanding of the legislative policy and procedure within the sector. Once achieved, progression routes are available to the Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care. As part of the Apprenticeship framework learners will also complete Functional Skills in English and Maths.
