Leisure Operations Apprenticeship Level 2

This apprenticeship programme develops the knowledge and practical/technical skills for those working as an apprentice in the Sport, Leisure & Recreation sector. Leisure Operations apprentices are either; 1.Based with an employer 4 days a week, and attend college 1 day a week (on a day release basis) for knowledge, portfolio building and assessments. 2.Alternatively apprentices can complete this framework in the work-place supported by a tutor and by accessing online resources. The college has links with a range of employers and will try to place you in employment, however this cannot be guaranteed so we advise you to look for your own employer. On this unit based course you will learn about: •Support the work of the team and organisation •Promote health, safety and welfare in active leisure and recreation •Support equality and diversity in active leisure and recreation •Give customers a positive impression of yourself and your organisation •Understanding the Active Leisure and Learning Sector •Understanding Employment Rights and Responsibilities •Developing self in an active leisure job role.
