The aim of the qualification is to provide students with an introduction to bookkeeping practices and to process source documents that underpin accurate record keeping. Who is the course for? This course is suitable for anyone looking for a qualification as the starting point or a career in bookkeeping and accounts or who wish to enhance their business administration skills to progress their career. This course is a great taster for those who have no accounts experience and those curious about what higher level courses might involve. What is the programme about? Focused on a practical introduction to bookkeeping including documentation and processes such as basic double entry. What are the future prospects? Successful completion of the Level 1 courses, alongside sufficient GCSE grades (or equivalent) in English and mathematics may allow progression to the Level 2 AAT course. This qualification can lead directly onto employment, and compliments other accounting and administration qualifications. This is a full cost course course. No funding available.
