The course covers a range of subjects which an administrator would need to know about. The qualification is studied by intermediate apprentices following a business and administration pathway. Module one of the syllabus covers employment rights and responsibilities along with other work place policies to include health and safety, security, confidentiality data protection and sustainability. Modules two and three have a more practical bias to cover topics such as travel and accommodation meetings, diary management, organising business events and customer service. Document production and management of information systems is studied along with broader themes such as innovation and change.
