The Diploma Level 3 and certificate in preparing to work in adult social care elements of the Advanced Apprenticeship cover areas including communication, promoting clients' rights, promoting health and safety, abuse, self development, pressure area care, risk assessment, moving and handling, accessing outside services for clients, care planning, medication administration. You will also complete Functional Skills in Maths and English and develop your knowledge about Employment Rights and Responsibilities. This is a work based learning qualification so a lot of your learning will take place in the working environment.
