To achieve the Level 3 Diploma in Dental Nursing, learners must achieve 46 credits from the 15 mandatory units. Learners must also achieve an overall pass in the evolve test (4234-317) which covers the underpinning knowledge in units 312- 315. To achieve a full Apprenticeship learners must also complete functional skills in English, maths and PTLS. Achieving this qualification provides opportunities for progression to the following qualifications: • specialist dental nursing roles • dental hygiene and therapy • dental technician • teaching dental nursing • dental practice management. There are also opportunities for Post Qualifications for example in Oral Health Radiography.
