The course focuses on how the equipment works, how to set it up, cueing records, beat-matching and mixing techniques. Individuals will record a final mix, which they can take away to start promoting themselves. We use both vinyl and CD decks. There is an overview of DJing using Ableton Live and an introduction to making dance music using Logic on Apple Mac G5s.
