During this one year course you will study a broad range of fashion related topics to gain a greater understanding of the industry, in both the business and creative fields. Subjects covered include styling, display and window dressing, trends through the decades and understanding roles within the industry for progression to a more specialist L3 course. Students will take part in practical workshops, as well as theory based lessons combined with live industry projects to give them a feel for what working in a fast paced fashion business is really like. This course incorporates the creative design element with business retail. The course is fun and allows students to explore a variety of job roles and responsibilities within the industry. As well as creative and analytical skills you will learn how to work together as a team, build confidence and learn how to organise your time effectively.
