Aim To meet the requirements of the National General Certificate in Occupational Safety and Health.Objectives -On completion of the course the delegate will be able to:1. Understand and refer to all current and relevant safety legislation as it applies within his working environment.2. Identify non-compliance with safety legislation and general hazards within his working environment through the effective application of recognised safety inspection and auditing techniques.3. Present information clearly and concisely to groups including management.4. Make recommendations on appropriate actions to remove hazards and minimise risks.5. Investigate accidents, hazards and reported occurrences within the workplace such that measures may be taken to prevent recurrence
