This qualification is aimed at individuals who have responsibility for the work of others, as they lead a team. It is suitable for people who are entering a management role, or who have the ability to demonstrate recognisable management and leadership skills, for example, providing leadership for a team, encouraging innovation, allocating, and checking work.

Name: Apprenticeship in Team Leading Qualification title: NVQ Certificate in Team Leading (QCF) Qualification type: Assessment Before you begin this qualification, you will take part in some form of initial assessment - these determine your starting point. If you do not hold any qualifications in Maths, English and ICT which exempt you from the functional skills, training towards these will be arranged. Assessment of your competency in these areas is assessed through functional skills exams.
