Name: Advanced Apprenticeship in Engineering Qualification title: Diploma in Engineering (QCF) Qualification type: Assessment The NVQ 3 will be assessed through practical work completed during employment and the completion of underpinning knowledge questions. The learner must complete a portfolio of evidence. The Technical Certificate will be assessed by course assignments and projects and the functional skills via tests. The ERR is completed during the course induction period. Personal Learning and Thinking Skills will be assessed throughout the course. Entry requirements

Learners will be provided with personal protective equipment (proban overalls and safety boots). Lockers are available to all apprentices to keep their PPE safe. Advanced Apprentices who have completed the off-the-job Apprenticeship programme first will only attend College for 1 day per week (September to July) for completion of the Technical Certificate.
