If you are considering a change of career, or are returning to study and are looking for a route into Higher Education or University this course will be right for you. There are two main pathways, Education and Health & Social Sciences. However students go on to study a diverse range of university courses once the access course is achieved. What will be studied on the course? All students are required to study the following mandatory units:- Information Technology (Level 2) Mathematics (Level 2) English (Level 3) Project (Level 3) Students are then required to study the following units depending on the pathway chosen. Health & Social Sciences Biology Health Promotion Psychology Sociology of Health All pathway units are at Level 3. The pathways and individual units may vary depending on demand. Your timetable will vary according to the choice of modules and will involve a mixture of morning and afternoon sessions
