This Level 2 Construction Plant Maintenance Qualification is achieved over two years in blocks of two or three weeks with 15 weeks in the 1st year and 14 weeks in the 2nd year in College, the remainder of time in the workplace. The NVQ comprises six mandatory units plus three optional units, for each unit the candidate is required to collect approximately three pieces of work based evidence.
