AS MATHS C1 CORE MATHS C2 CORE MATHS M1 MECHANICS The course content covers the following topics: C1 CORE MATHS (PURE)Pie Chart Algebra, co-ordinate geometry, series, differential calculus, integral calculus C2 CORE MATHS (PURE) Algebra & functions, circles, series, trigonometry, differential calculus, integral calculus M1 MECHANICS Models, vectors, kinematics, dynamics, statics, moments How will I be assessed? There are three externally set papers C1, C2 and M1 in June of 1.5 hours each. What are the entry requirements? Candidates for the AS level course MUST hold a current GCSE in Maths with grade A-C (or the Higher/Intermediate Tier above grade C). Candidates who do not hold GCSE must take this course before attempting the AS level (and this may be taken in parallel if a diagnostic test is favourable on entry).
