This course is designed for students who have considerable previous training and experience in Electronics Engineering and who wish to progress to Higher level, perhaps with Professional Incorporated Engineer (I.Eng.) status in mind for a future career. There may also be the possibility of obtaining credit or accelerated entry on a University degree course in the third or final year. Course content includes: Electronics; Engineering Design; Engineering Science; A project; Analytical Methods; Digital and Analogue Devices and Circuits; Microelectronic Systems; Business Management Techniques; Mathematics Support; Electrical and Electronic Principles; Microprocessor Systems; Operational Amplifiers; Electronic Design (CAD); Electronic Logic; Software Design Methods; plus Key Skills. Some applicants may qualify for accreditation for previous learning/experience, making it possible to reduce the number of study hours. If you think you might qualify please indicate at interview.
